在萬聖節當天小編要分享一個大家也許比較少知道的當地文化現象：

💦As a matter of fact, in North America, for some teenagers, they don’t give it a darn, what “treat” they will get. They prefer the “trick” part. 

事實上，在北美部分地方，對於一些青少年來說，他們根本不在乎，他們會得到什麼“好處”。他們更喜歡“捉弄”的部分。

💦They may throw some eggs upon your windows, paint a skull on your car, or play some firecracker at your door. Your scream or scolding may enhance their excitement. 

他們可能會在你的窗戶上丟雞蛋，在你的車上畫一個頭骨，或者在你家門口放鞭炮。你的尖叫或責駡聲可能會增加他們的興奮感！

💦Thus, some households may simply turn off all the lights and hide themselves on the basement on Halloween to pretend no one is at home and pray that they don’t have to call a cleaning company the next day for the mess.

因此，有些家庭可能會在萬聖節關掉所有的燈，躲在地下室，假裝沒有人在家，並祈禱他們不必在第二天打電話給清潔公司。
